Storage & Labeling

Does light exposure degrade peptides?

Yes, many peptides are light-sensitive and can degrade with prolonged exposure to UV and visible light. Store reconstituted vials in the refrigerator away from direct light. Some people wrap vials in aluminum foil for extra protection, which is a reasonable precaution. Brief exposure during preparation and injection is fine—the concern is sustained exposure over hours or days, not the few minutes of handling during use.
