Do GLP-1 agonists delay absorption of other oral medications?

Yes. GLP-1 agonists slow gastric emptying, which can delay the absorption of oral medications taken around the same time. This is especially relevant for drugs where timing matters—like antibiotics, levothyroxine, or oral contraceptives. The effect is most pronounced during dose escalation when GI slowing is strongest. If you take time-sensitive oral medications, consider taking them at least an hour before your peptide injection day, or discuss timing with your pharmacist or doctor.
